How to Enable Dark Mode on iOS 27

Open Appearance in Settings and select Dark to use a darker interface on your iPhone.

Step 1

Open Settings from the Home Screen

Tap the gray Settings icon on your Home Screen.

Before you begin: An unlocked iPhone running iOS 27.

Find and tap the Settings app on your Home Screen. Its icon looks like a gray gear.

Step 2

Open Appearance

In Settings, tap Appearance.

In Settings, scroll if needed and tap Appearance.

Step 3

Choose Dark

Select Dark in Appearance settings.

Select Dark to change the interface. Choose Light whenever you want to switch back.
