How to Choose a Network Link Conditioner Profile on iOS 27

Choose a Network Link Conditioner preset such as 3G on iOS 27 to prepare a repeatable network simulation test.

Step 1

Open Settings from the Home Screen

Before you begin: An unlocked iPhone running iOS 27, paired with Xcode, with Developer Mode enabled and Developer visible in Settings.

Find and tap the Settings app on your Home Screen. Its icon looks like a gray gear.

Step 2

Open Developer in Settings

Tap Developer in Settings.

In Settings, scroll down and tap Developer.

Step 3

Open Network Link Conditioner

Tap Network Link Conditioner.

Scroll to Network Link Conditioner.

Step 4

Choose a network profile

Choose a network profile.

Keep Enable off while selecting a profile. Tap a preset such as 3G for a repeatable test condition. A checkmark identifies the selected profile.

Enable the conditioner when you are ready to test, then disable it afterward. Choose a preset appropriate to the network behavior you want to reproduce.
