How to Change Text Size on iOS 27

Open Settings > Appearance > Text Size and adjust the slider to make supported app text easier to read.

Step 1

Open Settings from the Home Screen

Tap the gray Settings icon on your Home Screen.

Before you begin: An unlocked iPhone running iOS 27.

Find and tap the Settings app on your Home Screen. Its icon looks like a gray gear.

Step 2

Open Appearance

In Settings, tap Appearance.

In Settings, scroll if needed and tap Appearance.

Step 3

Open Text Size

Tap Text Size in Appearance.

In Appearance, tap Text Size.

Step 4

Adjust the text size slider

Drag the slider to choose a comfortable size.

Drag the slider right for larger text or left for smaller text. Use the sample above it to check readability.
